Been-There: A Guide To Going Into Care
This module walks participants through what young people experience leaving their homes to go into care, asking them to reflect on cases they have experienced, and others they will be introduced to. At the end of the session learners will be better equipped to work with care-experienced young people in a supportive and trauma-informed way

This module looks at how foster care works, and the challenges it brings to both the young people in care and the carers who support them. It considers what support is available to all parties, and explores ways to make it a happier and more rewarding experience

This module considers what it is like to be in residential care from care-experienced young people’s perspectives, and explores with participants how this environment can be a positive one for young people who don’t respond well to foster care
