Alex has been a regular conference speaker for over ten years, sharing her considerable professional knowledge and lived experience of the care sector at numerous corporate events, community events, direct dialogue initiatives, and parliamentary forums.
Jon has spoken at a number of regional and national conferences, predominantly around community mediation and working with marginalised groups. He also has significant experience of designing and delivering conference workshops.
Alex’s broad experience in the sector has equipped her to talk not only about the care sector, but about change management, effective fundraising, housing and homelessness, and food poverty. She has mentored a number of colleagues and care-experienced people on their own public speaking journeys.
Everybody that has worked with Alex is impacted by her infectious passion for her work and the people and communities she represents. She combines speaking from the heart with thorough professionalism, recognising the tremendous pressures faced by professionals in the modern care sector.
